Robert and Elizabeth Yates design and create Copper Fire Paintings. Only the heat of a torch is used to reveal the colors in copper.
Studio Yates has used copper as their medium for over 25 years. The Yates' currently exhibit their works mostly in New York State as well as art shows along the east coast. Robert received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1993. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture in 1998.
